This year is no different and the following is a quick guide to what to wear this spring of 2006. The ?look? this year is such that you can probably find everything you need right in your wardrobe, with the exception of a few things. It?s a matter of knowing how to put it all together.
The Look: Subdued Bohemian, layered, sporty. Think shabby chic, putting together a variety of eclectic pieces together.

Real estate sales activity in both residential and commercial property picked up in 1998, and local market experts expect healthy gains in 1999.
“Spokane looks good right now,” says Bob Robideaux, incoming president of the Spokane Association of Realtors and president of R.W. Robideaux & Co., a real estate development firm here. “Interest rates are favorable to the overall marketplace We’ve got a lot of construction right now. We’ve got jobs coming into the marketplace.”
Major projects, such as the plant that B.F. Goodrich is building near the Interstate 90-Medical Lake interchange and the River Park Square redevelopment project downtown, have boosted buyer confidence in residential and commercial markets, Robideaux says. That increased confidence will carry over into the new year, he predicts.
A total of 4,669 homes were sold through the Multiple Listing Service of Spokane County during the first 11 months of this year, up about 8 percent from 4,330 sales in the year-earlier period. Total residential sales volume through the MLS rose about 9 percent this year, to $543.5 million from $498.7 million in the comparable period during 1997. The average home price in Spokane County climbed to $116,400, up from $115,200 in 1997.
Commercially, sales continued to increase at a brisk pace in 1998 as expected, with only a slight softening in demand for secondary locations and older property, says Marshall Clark, president of Clark Commercial Real Estate Co. of Spokane.
“I think 1999 is going to be pretty much a duplication of 1998,” he says.
The influx of national retailers coming to the area won’t subside in 1999, and more “category killers”–specialty retailers like Petco and Office Depot–will position themselves in the market, Tomlinson Black Commercial Inc. Chief Executive Officer David Black says.
“There are still a lot of category killer-type tenants that are looking at Spokane,” Black says. “Most of them are here now, but they are not in the positions they want to be in. That’s going to continue to be exciting this year.”
Both Black and Clark say most of the growth will occur in the Spokane Valley
